YouTube Notifications
Adding the Notification
Visit the Streamcord Dashboard and choose your server from the list.
Click "Add notification".
Click "YouTube".
Complete the form with the following info:
The channel's name as it appears in the URL bar on the channel profile page on YouTube.
- For example, if the channel's URL is
https://youtube.com/@streamcord
, the channel name isstreamcord
.
- For example, if the channel's URL is
Choose a destination channel in your server for notification messages to be sent to.
Create a custom message that will be displayed when the channel posts or goes live.
TIP
The message supports Discord Markdown and formatting variables.
INFO
Unlike Twitch notifications, YouTube notifications don't include an embed containing information about the livestream / video.
If you want to include a link to the video, you must include the text "
{video.url}
" in your message.(Optional) Filter between shorts, videos, and livestreams by clicking "View advanced settings" and toggling the corresponding checkboxes.
Click the "Add notification" button at the bottom of the page.

Feature Parity

- Game filters cannot be added because YouTube doesn't expose game information.
